The New Twitter
Have you seen the new Twitter format? What do you think of the redesign? Is it a case of keeping up with ‘The Zuckerberg’? It seems that there is an underlying feeling of intimidation when it comes to getting started on Twitter and the redesign was an attempt to encourage participation by those people who view mastering a new social platform as synonymous to learning a foreign language.
I have to say, that I like the new design. It just seems more intuitive and user-friendly as compared to the last version. I use HootSuite while sitting at my desktop so most of my hands-on utilization has come from the smart phone app. I particularly like the new #Discover function as it is location based and provides more targeted data. I find it easier to access the information that I am searching for and the ability to post from this or any function is convenient.
