Veteran’s Day in Maryland
On Tuesday November 11, we will celebrate Veterans Day.
November 11 is a date set aside to focus on honoring and thanking our men and women who have served in our Armed Forces. It is a celebration to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve. Although we have a designated day to honor our veterans, thanking them is something we can also do daily.
Please set aside the WEEK of Veterans Day, November 10 to November 17, to share via social media, good stories and messages to honor our veterans.
Use #thankavet and #Maryland in your messaging.
Suggested ideas include highlighting veterans who work for your agency, programs and services offered to veterans by your agency, thanking a business or organization who serves our veterans, or recognizing one who goes above and beyond to be veteran friendly.

Remember to use #thankavet and #Maryland as we celebrate, honor, and thank our Maryland veterans!
