Social Media Monday (Vol. 7, No. 2)

We are interrupting our normal Social Media Monday post to let you know about an exciting opportunity for community involvement.

A team of 6 Montgomery County Public School Middle school students just won Best in State in the Verizon Innovative App Challenge and are now in the running for the National Level Competition. This means that their app concept is the best among all entries in Maryland and one of the best among a total of 1200 submissions received nationwide.

Their mobile app idea will help children with Autism, their families, and special education teachers. You can watch the app idea video at https://youtu.be/tP-74xuIBFo.

Now  the team needs your vote to get to National level and get support to build the app.
